Over the years, I’ve tried a lot of multi vitamins, but none have been tailored specifically for women with PCOS.

What I Look for in a PMOS Multivitamin

When I shop for a multivitamin, I look for nutrients that support overall health, including:

These nutrients support everyday wellness and can be especially helpful when you’re trying to build a hormone-friendly routine without overhauling your whole life.

I don’t take all of these every day. I simply add them when they make sense for my body.

Inositol has probably been the second biggest game changer after my multivitamin.

It’s often used to support insulin resistance, basically when your body has a harder time processing sugar.

I found it helped me feel more balanced, especially with energy and cravings.

Healthy fats support heart health and may help with inflammation, which many women with PMOS experience.

Berberine is one I use more carefully.

Some women find it helpful for blood sugar balance, but I prefer using it only after discussing it with my healthcare provider.

It’s powerful, so it isn’t something I’d start without guidance.

It helps me relax, supports sleep, and seems to reduce those restless nights that can make PMOS feel even harder.

Iron is a little different. Not every woman with PMOS needs extra iron.

I only consider it if blood work shows I’m low or my healthcare provider recommends it.

Taking iron without needing it isn’t a good idea, so this is one supplement that’s worth checking first.

A Gentle Reminder

Everybody is different. What works beautifully for me might not be exactly what your body needs, and that’s completely okay.

Small, consistent changes usually feel much more manageable than trying everything at once.

Living with PMOS has taught me that simple routines often last the longest. 

My multivitamin became the foundation, and I only added other supplements when they genuinely served a purpose. 

You don’t need a cupboard full of pills to support your health. Sometimes one good multivitamin and a little patience are enough to get started.
